Performance Burlesque Course - Solo

Consists of: 8 x Private 1:1 Sessions plus studio dress rehearsals
 
Join our signature Burlesque Solo Course and learn the art of tease from our award-winning experienced instructors. Over several weeks, you'll create your very own burlesque act and costume with weekly guidance from Ruby 'D' Woo, all while being part of a supportive community. At the end of the course, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your newfound skills in a professionally produced performance.
 
You will also receive private sessions that provide one-on-one instruction tailored to your specific goals. Our experienced instructor will work closely with you to hone your technique, develop your stage presence, and create a captivating routine that highlights your unique style and personality.
As well as online sessions to teach you about tech requirements within the industry, fee expectations and applications. 
 
This is a performance course, where you will be working on creating a solo act that you will have the opportunity perform on the 11th April 2026 in Nottingham.
 
You will have your first online session will be to discuss songs, concepts and costumes, it will be an act discussion.
 
You will be expected to create your own costume, have ideas for your act and already have some basic knowledge of burlesque. 
 
Dates & Times
Thursdays or Sundays
15th Nov - 11th April
Dress rehearsal - 14th March, 28th March and 4th April (optional, but we recommend attending at least one)
 
60 Mins Online Sessions will be held via Zoom
Dress rehearsals will be held at Kimberley Sports Centre, NG16 2NJ
 
Payment Plan

- Time slot of your class.
- When you would like your first payment to be and across how many months
Payment plans come with an extra £1 charge per invoice sent out to cover the extra booking fees.

All payments have to be made before the date of the event. By making your first payment you agree to our standard terms and conditions. If any payments are missed your slot will be cancelled and no refunds can be given, as we will not be able to refill a spot once booked in.
An invoice will be sent out every month and a reminder before all due dates. You can pay online or via bank transfer. All details will be on your invoice. 
 
Only students who follow & complete the programme and work to the best of their ability will be permitted to showcase. It is unlikely that you won’t be allowed to showcase, but only well-rehearsed, completed acts will be allowed on stage at the end of the course. 
 
Performances are unpaid.
 
Must be 18+
 
All classes, workshops and event are non refundable and non transferable.
